Red Days is a visual essay all about the beautiful female body&mind.
Own your body -it’s something so obvious yet so difficult to stick in our day-to-day routine. With reoccurring symptoms each month, Red Days have power to affect a woman’s body and mind.
They can be composed of a roller coaster of feelings: sadness, tiredness or discouragement while feeling goddess-like, beautiful and raw at the same time.

With a focus on odd poses and angles, the setting is kept clean and minimalistic. This is also reflected in the styling, that mainly features Scandinavian fashion and simple silhouettes. With this editorial, we aim to show the beauty of simplicity in an awkward and less posed way.

Inkblot Portrait series
Mixed media - Combination of Ink and photography

Portraits are inspired by Rorschach psychology test which is used to examine a person’s personality characteristics and emotional functioning. The Rorschach test (also known as the inkblot test) is a psychological test in which subjects' perceptions of inkblots are recorded and then analyzed using psychological interpretation, complex algorithms, or both.
I use color, form, movement and shades together with portraits that describe the moment and personality of a person that is hiding behind the inkblot. Form is related to intellectual processes and color provides direct insight into their emotional life.
Their personality, emotions, motives, conflicts and fears are in front of them. Inkblot Portraits are all about imagination and consciousness.
